THE GUITAR
The 2019 Epiphone SG 400 in Worn Cherry is designed to recreate the classic Gibson SG at a more affordable price point. As a subsidiary of Gibson Epiphone are licensed to copy Gibson's trademarked and patented design features and sound quality to offer cost-effective alternatives.
KEY FEATURES
Body: Crafted from mahogany in the iconic double-horned shape, this guitar sports a worn cherry finish, giving it a slightly aged and attractive appearance.
Neck: The guitar features a set-in mahogany neck with a SlimTaper "D" profile—comfortable for playing — and a length of 24.75". It has a Pau Ferro fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and classic pearloid trapezoid inlays.
Pickups: It's equipped with two Alnico Classic PRO humbucker pickups— one at the neck and one at the bridge. These pickups are designed to deliver the vintage SG sound, offering warm tones with great sustain.
Electronics: The two separate volume knobs and two tone knobs, allows the player to precisely shape the sound. A three-way toggle switches between the guitar's bridge, neck, or both pickups.

THE CONDITION
There is a small indentation on the back of the neck near the body (pictured) but other than that, the guitar is in excellent condition, and has been restrung with Elixir 10 gauge strings and set up for a comfortable playing action and correct intonation by our pro in-store guitar tech.
