Old Friends, New Guitars and an Unreasonable Amount of Gear

There are new noises brewing at Village Music.

First—and this is a big one—we’re delighted to announce that ESP and LTD guitars are coming back to the shop.

We stocked them in the past, but changing distributors meant we’ve had a few ESP-less years. Dark times. 

That ends now.

We’ve partnered with ESP once again, and our first delivery of new ESP and LTD stock will be arriving very soon. We’re properly excited to have them back and can’t wait to get our hands on the new range.

Hartke Is Back Too

We’ve also rekindled our relationship with Hartke, whose bass amps have long had a reputation for doing exactly what a bass amp ought to do: making the bass sound enormous without requiring a second mortgage or a structural engineer.

A fresh batch of 15, 25 and 50-watt Hartke practice amps has just arrived. Whether you need something compact for home, loud enough for rehearsals or simply want the ornaments on the shelf to move slightly when you play an open E, we’ve got you covered.

Say Hello to Ditson

We’ve also brought in a small range of Ditson acoustic guitars.

Named after the original distributor of Martin guitars back in eighteen-canteen, Ditson is part of the Sigma family—and they make some genuinely brilliant entry-level acoustics.

“Entry-level” can occasionally be polite guitar-shop language for “technically has six strings.” Not here. These are proper, playable, good-sounding instruments that feel like guitars you’ll want to keep playing long after you’ve stopped being a beginner.

More Gould for Your Pound

Finally, we’ve expanded our range of Gould electric guitars and basses.

Joining the models we already stock are:
