A CAMPING TRIP EMERGENCY.

Dad and son arrived at Village Music first thing this morning with a problem.
They’re heading off on a camping trip today.
Guitar packed. Bags packed. Ready to go.
When…
DISASTER STRIKES.
Broken guitar string.
But Mum to the rescue!
A quick emergency order of possibly the cheapest guitar strings known to mankind from Amazon, and they arrive just in the nick of time.
Camping trip saved!
Except…
DISASTER STRIKES AGAIN.
Nobody knows how to fit them.
Dad has an idea:
“Why don’t we try that guitar shop in the Village? They might be able to help.”
Dad and son arrive.
We see the guitar.
We see the strings.
We see the pleading please-save-our-camping-trip look in their eyes.
Craig and I immediately drop what we’re doing and fire into action.
Except…
DISASTER STRIKES. AGAIN.
Mum bought steel strings.
It’s a classical guitar.
We need nylon.
FORTUNATELY, they have stumbled into a shop with an entire bloody wall of strings.
Electric. Acoustic. Classical. Bass. 12-string. Banjo. Acoustic bass. Greek bouzouki…
~
If it has strings, we’ve probably got a packet for it somewhere.

READY FOR ACTION.
However there are limits to even our powers.
Unfortunately cannot save the camping trip from this awful wind and rain.
But somewhere in a tent near Perth tonight, there will at least be some sweet music.
Thank god for Not Scotland’s Biggest Guitar Shop.
