The flagship of Eastman’s thinline lineup, the T59/v is renowned for its hand-rubbed spirit varnish finish. Applied by master luthiers in Eastman’s specialized violin workshop, this ultra-thin French polish finish allows the gorgeous flamed maple laminate body to breathe and resonate far more freely than standard gloss lacquers. The factory-aged patina gives it the unmistakable look, feel, and buttery response of a well-loved, decades-old vintage classic right out of the case.

Condition: Excellent. This guitar has been meticulously cared for. Because it features a factory-relic/aged finish, it retains its original smooth, played-in matte patina with no additional or accidental wear. Frets show near-zero wear and the neck is straight and true.

Current Setup: We currently have this beauty set up with a fresh set of 12-gauge flatwound strings. If you are looking for that smoky, warm, and woody jazz/blues response, we highly recommend keeping the flatwounds on it—it sounds absolutely INCREDIBLE!
